WINTER SAFETY
Our team has provided a 5 gallon bucket, (with lid), of snow melt to each unit. We ask that you utilize the snow melt and throw it on your walkway before leaving your unit during inclement weather. Please snap the lid back on to prevent it from blowing away.
You will also see trash cans marked, “ICE MELT” and “PHCA” at the entry to the sidewalks from the parking areas. This is also for your use to prevent any slipping hazard, again, please remember to place the lid back tightly on the can to keep the product fresh.
Having said that, I want to remind everyone that the snow policy, as per PHCA Bylaws is as follows:
16. Snow Removal
Residents are asked to attend to their sidewalks in the event of a light dusting of snow. Because of the expenses, contractors are asked to plow and shovel only after the accumulation reaches 2 inches.
If you have neighbors who are disabled or in need of assistance, please check on them or let the office know your concerns.
TRASH AND RECYCLING
I am sure, many of you have noticed we are short Recycling Bins. With the assistance of Palmyra Borough, we should have the bins replaced in the coming month. In the interim, if the recycling or trash bins are full in your area, please take your recycling and trash to another recycling or trash bin.
DO NOT dump the trash on the ground! This is prohibited and can result in a fine of $100.00 as per the bylaws.
Thank you, for your anticipated cooperation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
